The Colcrete range of Colloidal Grout Mixers are internationally recognized as the most efficient method of mixing cement based grouts and other materials used in the construction industry, resulting in very stable mixes which resist bleed and contamination by water. The CGM series of high speed, high shear, colloidal grout mixers provide an extremely efficient and rapid means of producing various types of grout. These may include cement, bentonite, sand, and a wide range of polymeric grouts. The mixing tank is fitted with a bag splitter which enables the material to be evenly distributed into the mix, and the splitter is easily removed, allowing access to the inside of the mixing tank. How a Progressing Cavity Pump Works
Although the geometry of its pumping elements may seem somewhat complex, the principle of progressing cavity pump operation is deceptively simple.
The key components are the rotor and stator. The rotor is a single external helix with a round cross-section, precision machined from high-strength steel.
The stator is a double internal helix molded of tough, abrasion-resistant.elastomer, permanently bonded within an alloy steel tube.
As the rotor turns within the stator, cavities are formed which progress from the suction to the discharge end of the pump, conveying the pumped material. The continuous seal between the rotor and the stator helices keeps the fluid moving steadily at a fixed flow rate proportional to the pump's rotational speed
